Added an essay entitle Embark: Bow River Driftwood to the Solstice Essays project.

Posted a few photos I recently shot in my garden. They aren't your typical flower-shots. Instead they focus on textural details.

The photographs are shot on Kodak T-MAX 3200 film (with the camera set to 3200 ISO) which provides wonderful grain and contrast. I plan to print these shots on my inkjet at 16"x12"

Had the opportunity to shoot a nice intimate wedding today. Very happy with the results.

My garden is coming up nicely. Recently organized some shots I took last year and will post soon.

Spent a week in Florida. Shot with my LOMO L-CA. Will post shots as I get them developed.

My sister Sarah is having an art show with her partner Marcus Riedner entitled Our Little Children from February 2 - 6, 2004, at the University of Calgary, Department of Art, Little Gallery.

Opening reception: Monday, February 2, 2004, 4 - 6 pm

I photographed my first wedding today. Lots of fun and hard work. I've known the bride's family my entire life so that made things a little easier.

I shot the formal poses on 4x5 and the rest digital (with a 10D) and two rolls of T-Max 3200. I will be posting some shots when I get everything edited.

Also, I am starting a new job with istockphoto.com which will give me more opportunities to shoot. Expect some interesting work to appear here in the coming months.

Launched the on-line store today along with a face-lift for the rest of the site. Inspired by the Autumn landscape, the cleaned-up layout uses a fall colour palette. I'll be posting some seasonal pics over the next week or so.

Had a nice walk this evening. Shot the sky, clouds, downtown, etc. Stopped by the Millennium Skate Park and shot some stuff there too.
